It’s said that when one door closes, another opens. For me, the latter was a doggie door, and I couldn’t be happier.

Recently, an educational institution client opted to handle communications internally. Although deeply appreciative of the opportunity I’d had to showcase their positive programs over the past six years, I knew I’d miss highlighting awesome students and staff.

As that door quietly closed, a new one – DogSpot day care and training facility in Oceanside – boisterously opened to a chorus of canine cacophony.

With both of us being dog lovers and sole business proprietors, owner Carlene King and I hit it off immediately. We are crafting a marketing strategy focused on using various platforms to reach diverse media and communicate directly with DogSpot’s targeted market.

I created the tagline: “North County’s happiest place on dog earth.” With 6,000 square feet of comfy play area and a host of amenities, dogs large and small will prove the truth of that statement.

Visit www.dogspot.biz, then visit DogSpot with your best friend. You’ll see why I’m delighted to go from K-12 to K9!
